This role is engaged as MID opportunities are identified and partners closely with account teams to deliver integrated pharmacy solutions to provider organizations.This position serves as a subject matter expert in medically integrated dispensing, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy business development. The Sr. Business Growth Executive leads consultative sales engagements, develops executive-level proposals, and coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. The role operates in a remote capacity with regular travel to customer sites and industry conferences.Key ResponsibilitiesLead consultative sales engagements across:Medically Integrated Dispensing (MID) programsSpecialty pharmacy development for provider groups, community practices, and health systemsMTCS service offerings, including pharmacy operations outsourcing, clinical programs, and administrative servicesDevelop and present comprehensive business cases, including pro forma financial models, implementation roadmaps, and operational strategiesDrive adoption of MTCS technology platforms and software solutionsPartner with account executives and sales teams to support enterprise customer acquisition and growth strategiesCoordinate cross-functional teams (operations, clinical, technology, and support) to deliver integrated, customer-centric solutionsDevelop and deliver compelling executive-level presentations and proposalsMarket Development & Thought LeadershipEducate internal stakeholders and customers on:Specialty pharmacy business models and economicsMedically Integrated Dispensing strategiesEvolving healthcare and pharmacy industry trendsMaintain deep expertise in:Pharmacy benefit management (PBM) dynamicsProvider and health system trendsSpecialty drug pipeline and therapeutic advancementsRegulatory landscape impacting pharmacy and provider operationsRepresent McKesson as a pharmacy subject matter expert in client engagements, strategic discussions, and industry conferencesMinimum QualificationsDegree or equivalent experience, typically requiring 4+ years of relevant experienceEducationDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent clinical credential requiredExperience in specialty pharmacy and/or Medically Integrated DispensingCritical Skills & Experience4+ years of experience in one or more of the following:Specialty pharmacy, pharmacy operations, or consultingHealthcare provider sales or business developmentSolution-based or consultative sales in complex healthcare environmentsPreferred Skills & ExperienceDeep expertise in specialty pharmacy business models and operational performanceExperience with provider-based pharmacy strategy, including health systems and community specialty practicesKnowledge of accreditation processes (ACHC, URAC) and 340B programsStrong financial acumen, including development and interpretation of business cases and financial modelsFamiliarity with pharmacy technology platforms and workflowsProven ability to manage complex sales cycles and build long-term client relationshipsCore CompetenciesStrong results orientation with a highly consultative sales approachAbility to engage effectively with executive stakeholders, physicians, pharmacists, and administratorsExcellent communication, presentation, and influencing skillsStrategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesSelf-motivated with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative team player with strong cross-functional leadership skillsTechnologically proficient and adaptableWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
