Founded over 40 years ago, the company has a long history of delivering high-quality construction projects and has established a reputation for excellence in the industry.This well respected builder prides itself on its commitment to safety, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, making it a trusted and respected player in the Australian construction market.They are known as a traditional Tier 2 builder who delivers projects from $2M to $70M.The role (Estimator)We are looking for an Estimator with 4 to 5 years plus experience to join a team of 3, reporting to your Estimating Manager.Main Responsibilities Might IncludeReviewing project plans and specificationsConducting site visits to gather information on project requirementsConducting research on construction materials, equipment and labour costsPreparing detailed cost estimates based on project plans, specifications and cost informationPresenting cost estimates to clients and project managersCollaborating with project teams to ensure estimates align with project goalsMonitoring project costs and making adjustments as necessary to ensure estimates remain accurate.What We Are Looking ForTo be an effective estimator, one should have a solid understanding of construction methods and materials, as well as experience in cost estimating and project management. A bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is often preferred, along with experience in the construction industry.
