Main Purpose of the Role
Welo Global is seeking an experienced freelance English (en-US) to Hebrew (he-IL) Translator and Copy Editor to support an exciting, long-term project with a leading multinational company.
This is an on-going freelance and remote position.
Project Details
Location: RemoteExpected Volume: Approximately 500 to 1,000 words per weekEmployment Type: Freelance/Independent ContractTask type: Translation and Copy-EditingContent types: Marketing, Product, Support, Informational, Light LegalCAT Tool: Client specific CAT tool (training provided)
Requirements
Native or near‑native proficiency in Hebrew (he-IL) with excellent command of English (en-US)
2+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related fieldor
5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree
Demonstrated experience translating English to Hebrew across a variety of content types, including informational, marketing, product, support
Experience using CAT tools
Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to deliver high-quality translations while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced localization environment
Strong communication skills, responsiveness, reliability, and openness to feedback and revisions
