Responsibilities
1. Drive P&L-Impacting Day-to-Day Operations
• Revenue growth
• Grow organically through volume and frequency: customer acquisition, retention, new offerings and lifetime value (LTV)
• Carry out expansion plans (new locations and markets) from start to finish
• Cost management
• Adjust labor based on real-time trends and needs
• Make org structures and daily operations more efficient
• Take a disciplined approach to managing and reducing expenses
• Customer experience
• Improve the onsite experience to drive retention, frequency and LTV growth
• Streamline onsite operations and share best practices across the portfolio
2. Use Analytics and Financial Analysis
• Use daily reporting to understand and improve:
• Customer acquisition, retention and participation trends
• Conversion metrics
• Program and service performance, utilization and mix
• Labor and efficiency metrics
• Turn insights into practical recommendations for operators
• Use data to support pricing, staffing and offering decisions
• Know your P&Ls well and take the actions needed to improve performance
3. Connect Local Operators and the Corporate Team
• Act as the main link between local operators and corporate shared services, including Marketing, Finance, Accounting, HR, IT and Safety
• Support onboarding of newly acquired businesses, which you will then manage
• Enforce safety standards and compliance across your businesses
What Success Looks Like
You will be measured on growing your businesses organically and hitting financial targets while keeping strong relationships with local operators.
Qualifications
Minimum:
• 5+ years of experience in operations, business analysis, consulting, finance or similar high-responsibility roles
Preferred:
• Prior multi-unit, consumer-facing “four-wall” experience in industries such as youth programming, education, quick-service or fast-casual restaurants, family entertainment, fitness, or similar location-based businesses
The ideal candidate is:
• Highly self-sufficient and organized, able to balance and switch between multiple businesses
• Financially oriented
• A clear communicator who builds trust with operators
• A proactive problem-solver who is comfortable with both tactical tasks and bigger-picture challenges
